Before starting The Clearout Detail, owner David Sharp spent more than 20 years in the hotel business — in maintenance, operations, and housekeeping. That's two decades of being trusted inside other people's rooms and properties: fixing what was broken, turning spaces over on a schedule, and leaving every one of them clean, orderly, and ready for the next guest.
That background is exactly why customers can trust The Clearout Detail inside their homes and properties. Hotel work runs on checklists, standards, and respect for the space you're in — and David brings all of it to every property cleanout and deep cleaning: careful with your belongings, thorough down to the details, and professional from the first call to the final walkthrough.

Yes — we offer same-day and next-day service, with jobs done by the end of the day. Call or text (336) 780-2642 as early as you can and we'll fit you in.
It's helpful if you're available when we arrive, but you don't have to be home. We can arrange a pickup without you there if you let us know in advance — just call or text (336) 780-2642 to set it up.
No — you don't have to move or group items before we arrive. We can clear rooms, basements, attics, and garages ourselves. How items are grouped and how easy they are to reach can affect your quote, because it changes the labor and time involved, and your free quote will reflect that.
Yes — reusable items are donated where possible so they can be used again. We recycle metal, electronics, and cardboard, and the rest is disposed of properly to reduce landfill waste.
For normal waste, pricing is calculated by cubic feet — how much space your items take up. Dirt, concrete, and other heavy materials are priced by weight instead. Every job starts with a free, custom quote.
